managing director of Fan gostar Pars ,managing director of Asalooyeh energy ,vice president of national steel co. executive of Tabas plan, managing director of steel company member of managers of pars cement of Khoozastan, manager of cement and Dorood farcite, manager director and member of managing of Metamorph company, dispatcher of ESCO, Manager of Royal fiber.

His efforts are very important as well as effective for Steel Industry.

 

1-    Would you please tell us about the role of Steel Industry in progressing of economy in Iran?

Mr. Erfanian :   Steel is a small part of Iron applications in human life. Industrial world has used two roles of Steel in society: a) getting industryb: having stable growth

Getting industry causes a big consumer and it involves all of the items of industry as well as social welfare, such as water, electricity, gas, roads, railway, university but iron is more than industry because lack of iron in human’s body will bring a big problem. Plants, animals, human life and earth balance depend on iron so it is called as a tool for doing justice.

 

2-    How much entrepreneurship is in Steel Industry in our country?

Mr. Erfanian :   In Steel Industry process it has been detected about 3000 jobs, rate of making job

in non-industrial country is 43 jobs out of steel company. If the companies get industry, the rate will be less, but Steel Industry is in the top in the rate of making job in every country, therefore it is good to say that Steel industry is entrepreneur naturally.

 

3-what is the most important of advantages of steel production in Iran?

Mr. Erfanian :  although Iran is young in geology but it has a lot of mines. Hard livelihood led Iranian to be highly educated .people used to talk with poem unfortunately the separation of Philosophy and Astrology from other science made some problems such as depending on western technology, if university uses science, steel process can active all of the mines of Iran and IRAN can be the best in marketing of 300 million people.

4-    How do you evaluate the export place of steel products in order to decrease non –oil exports?

Mr. Erfanian : Iron is always iron in circle of universe. IF oil is changed to energy it will be finished, in petrochemical products you can recycle them but they will be unusable after several times .If row oil is used in steel making it brings advantages otherwise row oil makes a big inflation.

5-    What kind of solution do you recommend to increase competing among Iranian steel products and other foreign products?

          Mr. Erfanian :  the mission of MSC mentioned bellow:

a) Producing sheets

b: Improving quality and quantity of products

c) Reducing the imports

d) Being pilot for industries

The last two missions were not accomplished. We have many advantages to getting industry; most of the countries cannot compete to us because we have energy, mines and human resources for 300 million people.

6-which companies are the most successful out of Iran?

          Mr. Erfanian :  As I told you Steel is a small part of patern in human’s life

So no company can be our pattern in Islamic government. MSC was built as a pilot for Islamic government; unfortunately it is as a sheep that we use its feces. And with this situation it is the best in industries.

It leads us to know iron is for doing justice and we should use it for industry and government.

7-what is the best experience of you in steel industry?

Mr. Erfanian :    The best experience for me is steel as a part of iron advantages and iron has applications more than industrialization and most important of it ,is for judgment, also some experiences mentioned bellow:

a)     The process of steel making is similar to all of technologies, so knowing the technology of steel making cause self –reliance in all industries.

b:    Steel industry makes other industries and it is basic.

c)     Because of high coefficient of use, it is basic for developing growth.

8-what is the worst experience of you in steel industry?

    Mr. Erfanian : Iran’s government never use of iron capacity before or after

The revolution and it is used as cement or biscuits industries. Unfortunately this culture affected MSC.

9-What are the most challenges in steel industries?

The most challenges in steel company are:

a)     Steel industry should be responsive for industrialization in the country.

b:     It should be base for growing trend constantly

c)     MSC should conduct the efficiency for state and private investment

d)    Imidro should be protect native industries

e)     We should concern all of the middle east countries as our internal marketing

So competition mechanisms should be used in internal bazar.

10-if you came back to 30 years before did you choose this industry?

I am very thankful for being in this industry and if I could spend all of my life moments, I had prayed God.

11-Do you have any recommendations for developing steel industry in private investment?

We should pay attention to basic issues for growing industries in Iran so private and state investments can move forward.

12-what do you suggest the young people that want to work in steel industry?

Young people should enter to steel industry with faith.
