Justice and equality in prophets and leaders’ culture
When we speak of justice in prophets’ culture, the word Justice alongside equality comes to mind. In Quran, the prophet (PBUH) has been ordered to justice as his mission.
((… And say that you believe in any book that God has sent down and I was assigned to do justice among you&hellip))
In another place Allah says to the Prophet: ((Tell People My Lord has commanded equality …))
And in another verse, the Justice has been stated as the prophets’ Be’sat aim:
We have truly sent Messengers with clear proofs, and we sent down the Book and the scales with them for people to do justice…
The point gained by scrutinizing the verses is that in many cases that equality has been considered as prophets’ mission aim or the believers have had to do justice, ((Set up or adduction)) have been spoken out. It may be concluded that, equality is as the same as justice. The difference is that equality is executive and objective form of justice. Namely, as soon as justice found social form and external manifestation, it can be interpreted as equality and that’s why equality has to do with adduction, and it is stated as the aim of the prophets being sent. Social justice in Mahdavi government is not restricted to economical justice, elimination of poverty and discrimination, but poverty is eradicated from the whole social classes in the three political, cultural, and economical dimensions that is the realization of social justice.
Three axial dimensions:
1- The political dimension of social justice: Equitable distribution of social positions and authority or equitable distribution of power distribution.
2- The cultural dimension of social justice: Equitable distribution of education and adequate information about training and development of virtues and values to achieve closeness.
3- The economical dimension of social justice: Equitable distribution of wealth and facilities in society.
In a narration from Imam Sadiq (AS) is quoted: When Ghaem rises, he rules justly and in his time, oppression will disappear, and through him, the roads will be safe and the ground pours out blessings.
Ali (AS) said: ….As he appears, the herald will give a call: This is Mahdi, The Caliph of God. Follow him; he will fill the earth with justice and equity.
The Prophet (PBUH) said: … Ghaem will fill the earth with justice and equity.

Iron descent
We sent our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Scripture and the scale (the measurement criteria), until people rise up for justice and we sent down iron in which there is severe strength and benefit to mankind.
Explanation of the key words:
Scales: What is used to weigh objects and it is narrated that Gabriel brought it to Noah (PBUH) for the first time, and said: Command your people to measure [the things] with them.
Until people get it acted; Eqama means conserving and respect and execute the right thing.

Expressing Ijaz: Iron is one of the elements mentioned in the Qur’an. Mr. Nawfal a famous scientist says in his book named; Al Qur’an al Hadis: Until the eighteenth century, twelve centuries after the revelation of Qur’an, the metal work was still extremely weak, and it was not only valuable but basically was not considered significant, until suddenly the eyes of the world were turned to iron and tremendous competition emerged among scientists to extract and make use of it, so that the last two centuries has been attributed to movement and progress period, and metal era. Today, iron interests are so clear to people of the world that need no explanation. Unlike the people a thousand and four hundred years ago, Quran talked about the importance of iron agreed with today’s science and has proved its miracle in that way. It can be inferred that the term ((sent off)) is a metaphor of the iron; namely iron has been available to humans. But, if we consider the accurate and literal sense of the word, namely ((descended physically from the sky)), we will see that this verse includes a very rich scientific miracle. Discoveries of modern astronomy reveal that the iron already exists on the earth, has come from the spatial giant stars.
There are heavy metals in the world that have been created by the core of superstars. Our solar system by itself does not have the necessary structure to produce iron. These metals can only be generated in stars that are much larger than the Sun, the temperatures of which are millions of degrees. When the amount of iron exceeds a certain level in a star, the star can no longer tolerate it and explodes; this phenomenon is called ((Nova)) or ((Super Nova)).
Following the explosion, meteorites containing iron are scattered in the universe, continue to move in vacuum until they are absorbed by the force of gravity of a celestial object. All this reflects the fact that there has not iron metal created on the earth, but after the stars were exploded, it has been transported by meteorites in space, and thus, as stated in the Quranic verse ((it is descended on the ground)). Clearly, this issue could not be discovered by science in the seventh century-the age of the Quran-. Scientific research reveals that crust is a cosmic matter and iron is a physical element of the earth’s crust. This crust has differentiated a lot from its beginnings, because it has lacked elements such as iron and nickel. A recent study on meteorites has proven that iron and nickel alloys constitute their main substance, and due to the high specific gravity in the model construction of the planets are very important. There are many rocks in the earth’s crust, such as iron which are derived from different areas of celestial planets.
In the past, it was believed that the Earth was a part of the sun, and after a while it has been separated, so the sun was considered to be iron location was considered to be the location of iron formation. But over time, this hypothesis was rejected. Because, the temperature of the sun is 6,000 degrees Celsius, while even temperatures of 16-15 million degrees Celsius for iron atoms formation is not enough, and iron cannot generally be formed at the solar system temperature.
Based on recent discoveries, iron isotope 90 values obtained from in deep ocean sediments show about 5 million years ago, a supernova explosion occurred within 90 light years far from the sun. Iron60 is a radioactive isotope of this element which is formed by supernova explosions, and the half-life of it is 5.1 million years. The isotopes in sediment layers of the earth reveals that elements such as iron have been transmitted from space to the earth by meteorites after those explosions, millions of years ago.
So Quran has been described in the seventh century that iron has not been made in the earth but descended. It is only God comprehends all the sciences. Michael Vinton the famous biologist says Iron: ((The most important metal for life is Iron, this is the very large reserves of iron in the cores of huge stars that causes stellar explosions (Nova), and releases this important atom in space. Because of the heavy atoms, iron moves towards the center of the earth, and causes too high temperature, that allows chemical Subtract and, resulting gas forms atmosphere, and finally hydrosphere. Molten iron in the Earth’s core acts as a large magnet, and creates the magnetic field of the Earth. The magnetic structure of the Earth has created Van Allen belt that protects the Earth from harmful radiation with extra energy coming from space. Without iron, life based Carbon is impossible. Hemoglobin was not made of and there was not any metal causing combustion in the metabolism. Strong relationship between life and iron, between the red blood cells and painting some very far stars, not only shows the relation between metals, but also universe limits f or life.
Human Inspired by the Iron industry
Iron descending from the mountains where there are iron mining centers. Iron descent from the skies, occurred when the Earth’s molten state deteriorated, because before that materials used to in steam form, then turn into fluid form. Hence, ((Iron sent down)) is a correct interpretation; as rain falls from the sky and it is one of the wonders of Qur’an, that the Earth levels science has made its secret clear.
It says here in Sharif Lahiji interpretation: It’s been narrated from Imam Sadiq (AS), in Osool Kafi: I mean the book in this verse is ‘The great name’, as Abraham’s scroll and Moses’ scroll also mean ‘The great name’ and in this hadith after Alakbr name says: Great name, is a book that known by, you it’s the best thing for the future events that that Great name was with messengers (PBUH).
‘Walmizan’, and we sent down the scale with the messengers. Some people have said, The Scale here means Justice, and Ali Ibn Ibrahim’s interpretation says:” Almizan al Imam” means Imam’s scale (AS). Some people have said that it meant ‘Scale’ and it has been sent down to Noah, as it is narrated Gabriel brought the scale to Noah from the sky and said: Command your people to weigh things with it. At the same interpretation about’ Wa anzaln al hadid’, and ‘we sent down Iron’ has been narrated by Amir Al Momenin (AS) in the book of “Ehtejaj Tabarsi” (Sent Iron Down) by him…, and in the book of “Tawheed” by (Sadough) it’s been narrated from Amir Al Momenin that Hadid is meant ‘Weapon’ in Bass Al Shadid: In that hadith, it means a hard battle. Note that there is no contradiction between the above mentioned interpretations of the Islamic traditions narrated, because the Quran has wide layers of meaning.
Regarding to the use of ‘Sending down’ meaning and its accessories in Quran, we can say it is a semiotic-oriented interpretation rather than being meant ‘landing’.
Revelation is an iconic interpretation of the reduced and Smoothed of a sublime reality. The following are examples of the concept-oriented interpretation of allusions:
1 – Descent of God’s book, namely, reduced word of God to the language level to be “Hoda Llnas”. Word of God is absolute and relative language (implications of verbal condition) with the word of God for human use (spoken language) and writing (written language) is adjusted. And the descent is a symbolic interpretation of the adjustment.
2 – Rain has been evaluated as rings of interlinked wisdom chains of God. The wisdom, the knowledge including of which is wide spread horizon to horizon. In a verse, a knowledge about how Resurrection, Rainfall, and knowledge about Resurrection, rain and the existence of coagulated sperm are considered as three interlinked rings of the perspective, of wisdom come from God. One of the realistic, functional aspects of rain is grass and plants growth that their attractive and beautiful icons catch the eyes and drags looks to the abyss of neglect. They are oblivious to the withered way of grass and fond of lively surface of it. Green is an allegory of deceptive surface and yellow and wilting of the plant is the allegory of the transience of worldly life.
4- Iron descent: It means adjustment and reducing the availability of Iron in such a way that the firmness with the potential ability of human, harmonic and broad interests lay in its human needs can be available and adjusted. Interlinked structures (words) of the Quran, only find their true meaning on the geometric and volumetric structure of them. In other words, we can say words of the Qur’an, are as strings which find dehisce opportunity together in an interconnected woven network.
One can say that (descent) is the same as transition process, arranged from the order of command to the order of creation or the plummeted level (hidden treasure) in the garb of “creation”: Prophet David asks God why he has created the universe? God replied: I was an unknown treasure. I wanted to be recognized; therefore I’ve been attempting to create to be known.
Numerical Miracle of the Quran
Why is Hadid the 57th Sura in Quran? Why has the word (Hadid) come in verse 25 of Sura Hadid? Iron in the Quran: Iron element has 26 protons and 26 electrons. And the mass number equals 57.Al Hadid abjad excluding letters (a) and (l) is equal to the atomic number of iron which is equal to the number 26. At the same time 26 is the atomic number of iron, and represents the electrons in an atom of iron. Also Hadid Sura, is Sura 57 of the Quran, and 57 is mass number of one of the stable isotopes of iron. Alhadid is the fifty seventh Sura of Quran. Abjad number of Hadid is fifty-seven, too. Among the verses 1 to 26 of Surah Al-Hadid, God’s name is used 26 times, compared with the same atomic number. Abjad letters of Hadid is number 57, which also equals the same atomic weight of iron.
Iron and Medical Sciences
The Quran says that we sent down iron (descended). It also refers to the physical aspects of iron descent, and indicating of spiritual values, is the material aspect. Material aspect of iron is that it is actually descended from the sky. At the time of formation the earth was a fiery ball, and was surrounded by cosmic dust. Heavy elements such as iron came down like rain, when cooling down along with ground motion, due to the gravitational field. The heavenly descent is related to, the spiritual descent of iron and is secret of Quranic amazing succinctness that says: We appointed high power (intensive force) and the benefits to the people in it. Iron power has various, manifestations and aspects.
Iron is used in house structures, on large dams, equipment used by humans, weapons and most important tools in human life. Therefore, it is the clear example of God power and enormous ability of Divine. Interestingly, iron is energizer in the body, too. As we will say, iron is a gastric tonic, a tonic medicine for the spleen, intestines and important parts of our body. So, the term<Beas Shadid> or severe force has been expressed very wisely. Both aspects of iron use in buildings & rough tools, and in delicate organs such as; blood reminds human Divine wisdom and grace. Iron in hemoglobin, in red blood cells structure is the height of elegance and elegance. In traditional medicine and in the treatment of acute diseases, the use of iron therapy has been discussed a lot, and most doctors have mentioned the heated iron water as a drink for the patients. Heated iron water is the smelted iron, turned off in the water. Shaykh Alrays Ibn Sina in the third book of the law, Ibn Nafis in “Alshamel, Hakim ‘Aqeel Khorasani in Kholaseh Alhekmah, Razi in the book of Manafa Aj Aghzia Wa Mazarha, , Jorjani in Zakhireh Kharazmshahy, and the famous book, Dawood Antaky, and in most Iranian traditional medicine resources, heated iron water has been considered to improve digestive system. Arzani, in his valuable book (Makhzan Al Advieh) and Aghili in (Tohfeh Hakim Momen), have emphasized on it.
Iron therapeutic properties
Iron oxide particles are used to treat cancer, and its positive effects have been observed. A team led by doctor Andreas Jordan, in one of the most famous hospitals in the world (Chatertys hospital in Germany) succeeded to kill cancer cells using a new method called (magnetic field). The result of this technique which first was performed on a 26 year old named Nikolas H., that no new cells were found in three months after the surgery on the patient. This treatment can be summarized as follows:
1) A liquid containing iron oxide particles is injected into the tumor using a special syringe. This liquid includes thousands of millions of Iron oxide particles. The particles are spread in all tumor cells. (The particles are thousand times smaller than red blood cells) per milliliter that simply flows in all blood vessels.
2) Then the patient is placed on a device that has a strong magnetic field.
3) The external magnetic field starts to launch the iron particles in the tumor. During this stage, the tumor (containing iron oxide particles) temperature increases for 45 ° C.
4) The cancer cells that are not able to protect themselves against heat will be weakened or destroyed in a few minutes. The tumor can be completely eradicated with subsequent chemotherapy.
In this treatment method only cancer cells are affected by magnetic fields, because only they have iron oxide particles. Development of the technique is a major advance in the treatment of this deadly disease.
Breast cancer is diagnosed with iron oxide nanoparticles
Current methods of breast cancer treatment have very low sensitivity and resolution, but researchers have recently suggested that iron oxide nanoparticles can overcome the limitations and human breast tumors can be diagnosed in the early stages. The nanoparticles include a single crystal of iron oxide that is coated with polymer. The polymer stabilized the magnetic core and can be a junction for peptiders of pigments in targeted tumor cells. Five hours after injection of the nanoparticles particles into mice with breast cancer, the cancer cells are detected, and the scanner sets can determine the junction of the nanoparticles to cancer cells.
Iron, science, space
The Prophet has said: God brought down four blessings from the sky to the ground. These four valuable blessings are; Iron, Fire, Water, and Salt.
The Quran suggests descended iron as a symbol of power, referring to the issue of human justice and fairness, cites the purpose and mission of the prophets as the introduction of justice and fairness for the people, and says: The goal is for people to stand up for justice, and equality. This would mean that society building is the main target of the divine prophets’ teachings. Therefore, divine teachings of Quran are also harmonized with this purpose and mission, and many of the doctrines and propositions proposed in this book are the principles related to community or social issues.
Scientists have discovered the mystery of iron creation and symptoms created in it:
Iron is the only element that is not only related to physical life but also physiological lives of people, it is impossible to live without it, because iron carries oxygen from the lungs to the brain and other body cells.
Iron is the only element that has enabled life for the creatures and plants on the Earth, and it has been placed in the center of it. And, because of the Earth’s rotation around its axis has created a very strong magnet that its magnetic field from the North Pole to the South Pole is completed and thus, such a girdle has surrounded around the Earth. Considering that God has given properties and qualities to the magnetic field, that has not any cause of creation and it is only created, and that all the world material particles with electrical charges of their own have their motion modified by this area and proportional to their intensity size, they are kept within the area and doesn’t let them out. Therefore, all the particles, especially protons that have their source from sunshine and space are moving as strong rays. The Earth’s magnetic field does not let the lethal rays with protons enter the atmosphere, then reach the Earth’s surface and cause absolute death and destruction of organisms and plants. Today knowledge testifies the truth “iron descent from heaven” confirmed and proved these two issues: 1- The fact that iron was produced neither on the Earth, nor in the solar system, but about 10 to 12 million years ago. Huge stars were created and after they were exploded, they were scattered across the place and the Earth and other planets were created.
2-Iron is one the most powerful elements that one simple atom of it cannot be build even if the whole solar system energy and heat including the Sun are multiplied. Therefore iron was made, not only on the Earth, but even not on the solar system and the sun. According to the Quran about the sky, “Heart of the primary giant stars” has only been descended for human’s prosperity.
3 – Iron versus all the other elements, has such a position that it’s 25 end alignments, and the 91 higher elements than iron tend to engage in nuclear interactions to reach iron position, namely, to be converted to iron. But iron does not turn into any of the other elements due o the following:
Iron is located at No. 26 of periodic table of the elements, therefore:
– Elements from “1-26” release energy during their nuclear interaction, and turns into a higher element along with it to get closer to iron, and versus:
Elements higher than iron, namely from element “27 to 117” release energy with the nuclear interaction and turn into two or more elements smaller than it, to make its way to iron. The structure of the iron atom is created such a way that is not affected by temperature. Its thermal boundary is so high that the heat caused by gravity pressure cannot separate atom particles. This causes the iron to retain heat in itself, and therefore does not contribute to the nuclear interaction to break down and changes into another element and therefore, the huge star, no matter how much pressure is added, all of the heat and energy found from the pressure the iron located in the center of the star, retains it in and does not release it. That’s why creation proxy scatters the groundwork for the equal star explosion and all elements located within the star to the place. It is described as follows:
In terms of the magnitude and gravity, iron is heavier than the 25 basic elements, therefore, sinks into the star centers due to pressures of gravity, and surrounds the center. If, after the iron is built in the early giant stars, surrounds the center of the star and stores the heat obtained against subsequent gravity pressure and does not free it.
- Hydrogen forms more than 95% of the raw material of the stars. That’s why these signs have been created in the center of it. - The second gas” Millium ” which is heavier, replaces it upon increasing the temperature of the star, under the pressure of gravity and the remaining hydrogen occupies the first cortex of star and Millium cortex or second cortex. Likewise, any element made and heavier than the previous one falls in the lower cortexes. Finally, it reaches the “iron”, because iron is heavier than all of them, and iron creation miracle is that, not only goes another way, but causes exploding stars and exiting the internal elements of the stars, to place that other stars such as the Sun, the Earth, and human were formed. We see the short description as follows:
This way hydrogen in the first cortex, the second cortex Millium, carbon and oxygen in the third, the fourth neon, magnesium, and oxygen, in the fifth cortex silicon, sulfur and iron are placed in the latest one.
Q: If there were not such accurate measurements for each element separately, was there the possibility of a nuclear interaction, the individual elements, stars, the, exploding stars, earth and man formation? Is the creation of such measurements random? Or it has its own plan and resourceful? Is this unique resourceful, capable, owner of wisdom anybody except God? Another great sign that was revealed and discovered in creation is that:
God has given so constant activity of stars adjustment with his eternal knowledge that the force of one star doesn’t meet against another one and within itself.
First of all, gravity has been bestowed such a sign that star ingredients are pressed continuously to the center of the star, causes the heat to rise more and more.
Second, the achieved heat is granted such a sign that finds pressure himself to have the pressure Resistance contrary to strength of gravity pressure, namely it acts upwards from the center of the star.
Reasons for the star’s life follow these two powers:
1- If gravity is strong, star bright and burning will be fast, and its ingredient is terminated and the star life will be shortened.
2- If the thermal pressure is too high, the star will explode from inside and all materials and components built inside the star will be scattered in infinite space, and the star itself will be destroyed.
3-The third mode is the balance of these two powers or equalization of pressure, at this time the star burning is continued, and lifetime will be long. We see these cases in huge stars that iron is produced in.
3- It seems as though the “Iron” is given the task to keep the heat and pressure from the gravity in itself, and not to apply its pressure against the gravity, to get the pressure balance removed in favor of “gravity”. But using this case, it paves the way to do the task of creation it has been given to. Namely, providing the field of the stars huge explosion to scatter the whole internal materials of the star into the space. Scientists called the explosion “supernova explosion”. When the sky is split and the celestial planets sculpts like melted rosy oil. “Vardeh” means flower, and since flowers are often red, they evoke red concept. This is also one of Quran miracles that brings good news from how big explosion of huge stars and the scientists discovered it in 1967.
Interpretations and Suggestions:
Iron is a post-industrial material. Iron is an industry maker industry.
Iron is a metal that does a certain task and process in creation cycle.
About 35% of the earth is made of iron. Iron also makes up 5-6 percent of the Earth’s crust. Iron has the whole process of technologies in its process.
Iron can have a great added value and cannot be monopolized by a single investment.
Apart from itself, and due to its high consumption, iron makes others economic.
While iron is a booming industry, it booms the economy, too.
Iron is a generative metal, and can make many absorption and emission industries nearby.
Iron has played the role of counterweight in industry growth. Iron has been allocated one of the biggest factors in international trade and transportation.
Due to the large iron needs, it is infrastructure builder. Employment, roads, railways, universities, electricity, gas, telephone and,…
If the iron backs bills, it can keep the money value better than gold. Because it is everywhere with bills and anywhere it goes, while maintaining the value added, the value of money is retained and prevents inflation. Because, it gives the work value added all the way long and it is already iron. Iron has been called as equity tool in Quran. But no industry can claim equality with iron. Therefore iron should be named as a postindustrial category, and should be treated appropriately. In other words Iron should be called as blessings of the earth. Iron should be formed in a place that required platforms are provided for its development and operation.
